How can I be sure that shopping on-line at this site is safe?

Finders To Keepers uses SSL Technology (Secure Sockets Layer) to process credit card transactions. We use industry standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving and data that you exchange with our site. This same industry standard SSL Technology is used by major banks and stock brokerage firms. This encryption procedure "scrambles" the information you send us and makes online transactions extremely safe. Despite what you have heard, it is not simple to "hack" to intercept your personal information and decode it. Billions of dollars are spent via the web everyday.

How do I know if the page is secured or not?

There are two ways to see the security at work on this site. The first way to tell if a page is secured is in the address bar. As you will notice some pages start with the letters http:// - these are non secured pages that are only showing general information. Secured pages show https:// in the address bar; these pages are encrypted to provide the utmost in security. TheToolStore.ca uses secured pages on any page that requires you to enter sensitive personal information ensuring your information is secured. The second way to know if you are on a secured page is by looking at the top of your browser. Secured pages will show a lock, letting you know that the web page you are on is secure.

How will I know if something I ordered isn't in stock?

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your order or if the product is on backorder, our staff will promptly notify you.

What about sales tax?

Finders To Keepers is obligated to apply the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) in provinces where it is implemented. In provinces without HST, Finders To Keepers is obligated to charge the standard 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) on all orders.

 What happens if there's a pricing error or misprint?

While we strive to maintain accurate and current pricing and product information, occasional errors may occur. Should such an error arise, we retain the right to rectify any pricing, typographical, or printing mistakes. Please note that prices are subject to change without prior notice and availability is limited to the stock on hand.

How long will it take for me to recieve my item(s)?

Typically, items that are available in stock will be shipped within a timeframe of 2 to 5 business days. In the event that a product is currently out of stock, we will promptly notify you via email, providing an estimated delivery date.

What are my shipping options?

The available shipping options are presented during the checkout process in the shipping section. Currently, Finders to keepers utilizes Purolator and Canada Post courier services for shipping. However, if these options are not suitable, we are open to using alternative carriers for shipment.

Can I track my order once it has been shipped?

Absolutely, it is possible to track your package online. After your order has been shipped, an email will be sent to you containing the necessary tracking information.

Can my "ship to" address be different than my "bill to" address?

Please note that it is essential for security reasons that your billing address matches the one registered with your credit card company.

Do you ship overseas?

We are currently unable to offer that option. However, if you have any inquiries, please feel free to contact us via email or give us a call.

When will my card be charged for my order?

All orders undergo immediate processing and are charged to your credit card at the same time.
